Job summary

Kratos Defense & Security Solutions, Inc. seeks a Director, Cyber Mission Engagement to expand our cyber portfolio and shape portfolio strategy.

This role requires strong leadership to drive cross‑functional teams and align capabilities with mission needs, while engaging senior government stakeholders. The ideal candidate has 15+ years in offensive cyber, a track record of growth, and deep relationships in national security.

Qualifications

• Deep understanding of offnet offensive cyber access mission needs and programs.
• Ability to understand and articulate technical requirements and capabilities.
• Proven ability to lead and coordinate cross-functional teams.
• Experience managing complex projects in the national security space sector.
• Demonstrated success leading development and infrastructure teams.
• 15 years of operational experience specializing in offensive cyber, satellite communications, space operations, and engineering.
• Bachelor of Science in engineering or related technical field.
• Active TS/SCI required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and drive strategy to increase mission impact within Kratos’ cyber portfolio.
• Engage with senior Government stakeholders to understand requirements and influence programs.
• Partner with engineering, product, and business development to shape roadmaps.
• Lead cross-functional teams to ensure strategy execution and growth.
• Translate complex technical requirements into actionable business plans.
• Foster a culture of leveraging Kratos’ commercial capabilities in mission solutions.
• Support pricing strategy, P&L planning, and long-range business strategy.
• Build trusted relationships within the US Government offensive cyber community.
