Job summary

RT Specialty is seeking an Inside Broker to join our Cyber Liability practice in Chicago. The role targets professionals with cyber underwriting or wholesale brokerage experience who can analyze complex cyber risks and build trusted broker-carrier relationships.

You will develop placement strategies, negotiate terms, and support retail brokers with technology-related risk solutions in a fast-paced team environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in Cyber Liability underwriting or wholesale brokerage.
• Strong knowledge of cyber risks, coverages, and market solutions.
• Familiarity with Cyber Liability, Network Security and Privacy Liability, Technology E&O.
• Ability to evaluate and clearly explain coverage, exclusions, and risk exposures.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• High level of accountability, initiative, and follow-through.
• Interest in developing business and growing broker relationships.
• Ability to work effectively in a specialized, fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Review and analyze cyber liability submissions
• Develop placement strategies for new and renewal business
• Market accounts to carrier partners
• Negotiate coverage, pricing, and terms
• Support retail brokers with complex cyber and technology-related risks
• Build and maintain strong broker and carrier relationships
• Monitor evolving cyber exposures, coverage considerations, and market conditions
• Identify opportunities to develop and grow business
• Collaborate with cyber specialists to deliver effective client solutions
