Job summary

Parsons is seeking an experienced Intrusion Analyst to join our Federal Solutions team. You will conduct forensic examinations of network intrusions, malicious activity, and cyber incidents while developing actionable analysis to support investigations and operations.

The role requires active security clearance and extensive hands-on digital-forensics experience. You will write Malware Analysis Reports, validate tools, and contribute to expert-witness preparation and quality assurance

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; four years of hands-on digital-forensics or intrusion-analysis experience may substitute for the degree.
• Active Secret clearance required; Top Secret with SCI eligibility preferred.
• Experience analyzing network intrusions, malware, and cyber incidents; strong documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct forensic examinations of network intrusions, malicious activity, compromised systems, and cyber incidents.
• Develop or maintain scripts and analytical utilities for artifact triage and timeline development.
• Identify indicators of compromise, persistence mechanisms, lateral movement, and adversary behaviors.
• Perform evidence identification, hashing, timestamp analysis, and artifact interpretation; maintain chain of custody.
• Prepare accurate Malware Analysis Reports and validate malware-analysis tools.
• Support expert-witness preparation, affidavits, warrants, depositions, and courtroom testimony when designated.
• Contribute to quality-assurance programs, SOPs, audits, and laboratory metrics.
