Job summary

Lockheed Martin in Mount Laurel, NJ seeks a Senior Cyber Software Engineer with experience in cyber capability development and integration.   • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field.
  • DoD 8570 baseline certification for IAT Level II (e.g., CompTIA Security+, GSEC SSCP, CCNA-Security) or ability to achieve within 6 months.
  • Strong understanding of Linux command line and Linux troubleshooting.
  • Experience with automation tools and scripting languages, such as Ansible, Python, or PowerShell.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a government security clearance (US citizenship is required).
  • Travel up to 10%.

THE WORK

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Cyber Software Engineer with a strong background cyber capability development and integration.

In this role, you will be an integrated member of an Agile Cyber Product Team, supporting multiple programs within the REAS organization.

Responsibilities will include the full scope of the systems engineering process with a focus in cyber capability development and integration.

Tasking will include requirements development and analysis, capability design documentation, product selection, development, integration, regression testing, and delivery of cyber capability solutions for Linux based tactical systems.

Please Note This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a government DoD clearance at the Secret level.

The ability to travel up to 10%.

Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field from an accredited college with 5+ years related professional experience

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex software systems
  • Experience with cybersecurity principles and systems engineering

  • $91000.00 - $181113.00
