Base One Technologies seeks a cyber incident manager in Arlington, VA to correlate incident data, triage threats, and recommend defense-in-depth strategies. You will research remediation steps and monitor evolving threat conditions.

Responsibilities include handling incident triage, documenting progress, and coordinating with other teams. On-site shifts are M-F 1400-2200, requiring active security clearances and DHS suitability.

Qualifikationen

• Active TS/SCI clearance required.
• Willingness to obtain DHS suitability.

Aufgaben

• Correlate incident data to identify trends in reported incidents.
• Recommend defense in depth principles and practices.
• Perform CND incident triage to determine scope, urgency, and impact.
• Research and compile known resolution steps to mitigate incidents.
• Apply cybersecurity concepts to detection and defense of intrusions and analyze log data.
• Monitor external data sources to stay current on CND threat conditions and enterprise impact.
• Identify root cause and questions for external entities regarding infection vectors.
• Receive and analyze network alerts and determine possible causes.
• Track and document CND incidents from detection to resolution and coordinate with other teams.
• Provide support during assigned shifts (Shift 2: M-F 1400-2200)
