Job summary

Nightwing in Arlington, VA seeks a 2nd Shift Cyber Incident Management Analyst to lead incident response and containment for government-grade networks. You will research mitigation steps, analyze logs, and coordinate across teams to resolve breaches while maintaining strict security standards and DHS suitability requirements.

The role requires a TS/SCI clearance, 2+ years in cyber incident management, and collaboration across multiple sites.

Qualifications

• Experience in incident response and handling methodologies.
• Knowledge of NCCIC National Cyber Incident Scoring System for triage prioritization.
• Understanding of general attack vectors and defense mechanisms.
• Familiarity with incident tracking from detection through resolution.

Responsibilities

• Research resolution steps to mitigate incidents.
• Identify threats using knowledge of attacker TTPs.
• Analyze log data for signs of intrusion.
• Coordinate information across teams during active incidents.
• Document incidents from detection to closure.
• Triaging and escalating IOCs to senior analysts.
