Nightwing in Arlington, VA seeks a Cyber Incident Manager to support a U.S. Government customer. You will investigate breaches, develop mitigations, and coordinate restoration across enterprise networks. Candidates must have an active TS/SCI clearance, U.S.

Formación

• Must hold US citizenship and an active TS/SCI clearance.
• Directly relevant experience in cyber incident management or cybersecurity operations.
• Knowledge of incident response and handling methodologies.
• Familiarity with NIST SP 800-62 and related standards for incident reporting.
• Ability to prioritize incidents and describe attacker tactics, incl. phishing.
• Know how to recognize attack stages and vulnerability types.

Responsabilidades

• Correlate incident data to identify trends across incidents.
• Recommend defense in depth principles and best practices.
• Perform CND incident triage to determine scope, urgency and impact.
• Research and compile known resolution steps for mitigation of incidents.
• Apply cybersecurity concepts to detect intrusions and analyze logs.
• Monitor external data sources to stay current on CND threats.
• Identify causes of incidents and gather background information from external entities.
• Receive and analyze network alerts and determine probable causes.
• Document CND incidents from detection to final resolution and coordinate with teams.
• Some candidates may be hired for shift work to triage and research IOC indicators.
