Job summary

GEICO is seeking a Senior Manager of Cyber Governance & Assurance to lead the enterprise cybersecurity governance program. You will partner with Cybersecurity, Technology, Legal, Privacy, Enterprise Risk and Internal Audit to translate requirements into actionable controls and measurable assurance.

In this role you will drive governance maturity, establish KPIs, oversee control health across multi-cloud and data center environments, and mentor a high-performing team to deliver risk-informed

Qualifications

• Deep expertise in cybersecurity governance, controls, risk management, and regulatory compliance.
• Experience presenting to senior leadership and aligning with strategic priorities.
• Ability to translate complex cyber/regulatory matters into business implications.
• Strong written and verbal communication for high-stakes discussions.

Responsibilities

• Own and mature the Cyber Governance operating model and roles.
• Advise senior leaders on governance, obligations, and risk.
• Lead policy, standard, and control lifecycle from development to refresh.
• Translate regulatory and cybersecurity requirements into actionable technology standards and controls.
• Drive enterprise-wide remediation and root-cause analysis.
