Job summary

Charles River Associates (CRA) invites aspiring analysts to join its Summer Analyst/Associate Internship program. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree candidates graduating December 2027/Summer 2028 with a related focus.
• Familiarity with core skills: operating systems, forensics investigations, malware analyses, incident handling, and reporting.
• Experience with automation tools and scripts to expedite analyses is desirable.
• Understanding of chain-of-custody and evidence handling.
• Interest in consulting and CRA recruiting events.
• Preferred certifications: GIAC, IACIS, EnCE are a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with security and privacy investigations related to data security matters.
• Engage in forensic analysis of digital information using standard techniques and tools.
• Apply investigative methods to answer questions and research the origin of breaches.
• Document findings and draft technical and investigative reports.
• Leverage programming and database skills to support project work.
• Stay current with developments in digital forensics, e-discovery, and incident response.
