Job summary

Charles River Associates seeks a Summer Analyst/Associate Intern to explore cyber and forensic technology consulting. You will work alongside senior colleagues on live client projects, gaining exposure to data preservation, incident response, and digital forensics.

This 8–10 week program offers professional development and networking within CRA's global practice. Successful interns may be offered full-time roles after graduation, with opportunities across multiple U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree expected in Cybersecurity, Computer Science/Engineering, Digital Forensics, MIS or Security Information Systems.
• Strong understanding of operating systems, software and hardware.
• Experience with digital forensic analyses, memory/network analysis, and malware analysis in lab or live environments.
• Ability to draft technical reports and communicate findings clearly.

Responsibilities

• Assist with security and privacy investigations including breaches and fraud.
• Perform forensic analysis and evidence handling using standard techniques and tools.
• Apply investigative methods to answer questions and identify data relevant to litigation.
• Draft written reports and communicate findings to team and clients.
