Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology, Inc. is seeking a Cybersecurity Exercise Planner (Mid) to design, plan, and execute cyber exercises for DHS programs.

You will develop realistic scenarios, facilitate planning sessions, and produce actionable insights to strengthen national cybersecurity readiness. Responsibilities include creating SitMans, ExPlans, and AARs, coordinating with federal partners and technical teams, and delivering planning artifacts throughout the exercise life cycle.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in exercise planning, cybersecurity operations, emergency management, or related fields.
• Demonstrated experience with HSEEP methodology.
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity concepts, incident response, and preparedness activities.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and execute cyber exercises aligned with HSEEP principles.
• Lead or support development of exercise materials, including scenarios and evaluation tools.
• Facilitate planning meetings with government and private-sector stakeholders.
• Draft life-cycle docs: SitMans, ExPlans, and AARs.
• Analyze exercise outcomes and contribute to improvement plans.
