Job summary

Cambridge International Systems, Inc. in Charleston, SC is seeking a Cyber Engineer with a current DoD Top-Secret clearance to support NIWC Atlantic's Expeditionary Enterprise Systems and Services division.

You will design, implement, and monitor cybersecurity measures to strengthen network defense and protect critical DoD IT systems. The role requires a ABET-accredited degree, IAM/IAT/IASAE certifications, and hands-on experience with risk assessment, security controls, incident response, and

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer, Electrical, or Electronics Engineering, or Mathematics with CS concentration.
• ABET accreditation required and DoD 8570.1M certifications (IAM/IAT/IASAE).
• Current DoD Top-Secret security clearance and strong cybersecurity fundamentals.
• Experience with risk assessment, security controls, and incident response.

Responsibilities

• Plan, implement, upgrade, and monitor cybersecurity measures to strengthen network defense.
• Assess vulnerabilities and execute remediation strategies aligned with DoD standards.
• Deploy enterprise tools for threat hunting, detection, and monitoring.
• Respond to cybersecurity incidents and produce required documentation.
