Job summary

HUMAN is seeking a Detection Health and Performance engineer to investigate suspicious traffic, identify missed attacks, and reduce false positives. You will design, test, and refine detection logic for customers while collaborating with TAMs, Solutions Engineers, and R&D to resolve complex issues.

The role emphasizes translating technical findings to non-technical audiences, improving recurring workflows with better queries, dashboards, and automation, and contributing to a safer internet.

Qualifications

• 3+ years experience as a cyber security or detection analyst / fraud analyst / data or business analyst in a SaaS company.
• Strong SQL and data visualization skills (Tableau, etc.).
• Customer-facing experience is a big plus and helps translate technical findings for customers.

Responsibilities

• Investigate suspicious traffic and identify potential attacks, false positives, and missed detections.
• Design and test new detection logics for customers.
• Recommend safe detection actions, monitor their impact, and adjust as traffic evolves.
• Validate product integration and assess whether detection behavior is working as expected.
• Translate investigation findings into clear internal updates and customer-facing communications.
