Job summary

Pratt Industries is seeking a cybersecurity professional to join the Pratt Cybersecurity Team in Georgia. You will support and enhance security operations, threat detection, and overall security maturity, partnering with an MSSP to detect, investigate, and respond to threats.

You will lead the vulnerability management lifecycle, coordinate remediation across IT teams, and help strengthen Pratt's cyber resilience while balancing operational duties with strategic initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in cybersecurity, IT, computer science, or a related field.
• 3-7 years of experience in managing cybersecurity technology systems in a large, distributed environment.
• Experience with Incident Response and/or Security Operations Center (SOC) teams.
• Experience with XDR/SIEM platforms such as Google SecOps.
• Experience with the M365 security suite (Defender, Purview, Intune, Entra).
• Experience with vulnerability management tools such as Tenable Nessus.
• Scripting and/or development ability (PowerShell, Python, Bash, SQL).
• Strong communication skills.
• One or more certifications: CISSP, CISM, CompTIA Security+, GSEC

Responsibilities

• Respond to and manage security events; contain, investigate root cause, recover, and produce incident reports.
• Collaborate with MSSP to monitor, triage, investigate, and respond to alerts; coordinate containment and recovery.
• Configure, troubleshoot, and maintain security infrastructure across endpoints, networks, identity, and logging.
• Own and manage enterprise vulnerability management; run scans and coordinate remediation with IT teams.
• Develop new protocols and defensive systems to stay ahead of cyber threats.
• Oversee metrics and dashboards for security operations to ensure effectiveness.
• Contribute to security standards, policies, and technical documentation.
