Job summary

Gromelski and Associates, Inc. (GAI) is seeking a Cyber Systems Security Engineer to lead cybersecurity efforts protecting DoD assets.

You will drive development and integration of modern cyber solutions, provide cyber engineering expertise, and mentor team members across mission-critical systems. The role requires DoD 8570 baseline IAT Level II within 6 months, DoD Secret Clearance, and a bachelor's degree with 3+ years of experience (or a master’s with 2+ years).

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field with 3 years of relevant experience or master’s degree and 2 years of cyber experience; or 7 years of relevant experience.
• Must be able to obtain and keep a DoD Secret Clearance (U.S. citizen).
• DoD 8570-baseline certification for IAT Level II (Security+, GSEC, etc.) within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and integration of cyber solutions for DoD assets.
• Provide cyber engineering expertise and translate requirements into engineering tasks.
• Mentor team members and lead technical meetings across disciplines.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to balance mission goals with cyber protection.
