Job summary

Leidos seeks a cybersecurity professional to support the DISA CDES program, refining and maintaining cross-domain defenses. The candidate will engage with customers, apply threat intelligence, and develop analytics and countermeasures to defend networks in line with NSA NCDSMO RTB standards.

Requirements include a DoD security clearance, a related bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, knowledge of CND and EDR, and IAT Level 2 certification.

Qualifications

• Active DoD Secret clearance or higher.
• Bachelor's degree in a related discipline or equivalent experience.
• Knowledge of Cyber Network Defense (CND) to protect, detect, respond and sustain.
• Ability to work independently in a high-visibility, changing environment.
• Understanding of enclave-level networking and sensor technologies.
• Understanding of Endpoint Detect and Response (EDR) technologies.
• Active DoD-8570 IAT Level 2 certification (Security+ CE) at start date.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Establish baseline security data per RTB standards.
• Maintain integrity of customer configurations and onboarding baselines.
• Collaborate with monitoring centers to validate data access and CDES indices with a SIEM.
• Collaborate with teams to apply threat intelligence and develop analytics and countermeasures.
• Track RTB compliance with DISA and mission partners.
• Stay updated on RTB changes with DISA and NCDSMO; advise on necessary changes.
• Work with peers to establish data health dashboards.
