Job summary

Mandiant, part of Google Cloud, is seeking a Cyber Defense Consultant to build and maintain the tools, data sets, and metrics that enable actionable reporting for cyber defense initiatives.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and client IT resources to define requirements and deliver recommendations to support the client's Cyber Defense Center. You will develop dashboards and communicate improvements to enhance CDC capabilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in a technical field.
• 3 years configuring and maintaining SOAR technologies in security operations.
• 3 years writing reports for executives and technical audiences.
• 3 years data analytics for metrics and reporting.
• 2 years working with cyber defense teams in SOC/CIRT or similar.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain technologies, dashboards, and metrics for actionable cyber defense reporting.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements for the CDC.
• Develop dashboards and operational metrics to improve CDC capabilities.
• Communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders to drive improvements.
• Engage with clients and teams to enable rapid resolution of security issues.
