Cobalt Benefits Group is seeking an Information Security Analyst to safeguard information assets and technology services across cloud and on‑premises environments. The analyst will monitor security controls, investigate alerts, coordinate remediation, and improve the organization’s ability to prevent, detect, and respond to cybersecurity risk.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in cybersecurity/IT.
• 3–5 years of experience in security operations, cloud security, or similar.
• Hands-on experience investigating alerts across endpoints, identities, email, network, cloud, and data security controls.
• Experience with vulnerability assessment, remediation tracking, patch management, incident response, and control validation.
• Ability to explain technical findings and actions to technical and non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Monitor security platforms (EDR, IAM, email, network, cloud) for suspicious activity.
• Triage, investigate alerts, document findings, and coordinate containment and remediation.
• Analyze logs to differentiate incidents from false positives and maintain incident response plans.
• Assist with data protection controls, DLP, and access reviews across platforms.
• Support governance, risk management, and security posture improvements.
