Leidos is hiring three Cyber Defense Analysts to join the ONI Hopper Global Communications Center team in Suitland, MD. These are full-time, onsite roles with a weekday schedule and initial daytime training.

You will monitor security tools, investigate alerts for TS/SCI networks, perform threat hunting, manage incident tickets, and prepare situational briefings. After training, you will work the assigned weekday shift and participate in team coverage as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Information Assurance, or related; 4+ years experience or Master’s with 2+ years
• Active TS/SCI clearance in DISS
• Experience in Computer Network Defense (CND)
• Experience monitoring and investigating security alerts
• Experience with SIEM systems Splunk and Elastic
• Experience with NIDPS and host-based tools (FirePower, Palo Alto NGFW, Trellix ePO, Defender, Tanium)
• Knowledge of scripting languages (Python, Perl, Ruby, JavaScript, PowerShell, C, C++, Java)
• Knowledge of penetration testing tools (Kali, Nmap, Burp Suite, etc.)
• Knowledge of ticketing, reporting, and intelligence dissemination in cybersecurity
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Responsabilités

• Monitor security tools for TS/SCI networks and investigate alerts
• Conduct initial analysis and escalate to Tier 2 as needed
• Create and manage incident tickets
• Perform proactive threat hunting
• Coordinate with teams and deliver situational briefings
• Support cyber defense exercises
• Conduct wireless security scans and report findings
