Qualifications

• Degree in Network Engineering, Systems Engineering, Information Technology, or related field. Up to 18 semester hours of military networking training equivalent to an Associate degree.

Responsibilities

• Use information from intrusion detection systems, firewalls, network traffic logs, and host system logs to identify vulnerabilities and respond to cyber events.
• Develop mitigations to strengthen network defenses and protect network infrastructure devices or systems.
• Work across wired, wireless (including Wi-Fi and cellular), and collaboration platforms to support secure communications and mission objectives.
• Advance expertise in networking protocols, cloud security, IoT protocols, and advanced network security.
