Job summary

Weeghman & Briggs is seeking a motivated Forensic Analyst 2 to support critical government initiatives in Annapolis Junction, MD. This onsite, full-time role requires TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance.

You will analyze requirements, translate them into actionable solutions, and collaborate with cross-functional teams while ensuring compliance with contract and security standards.

Qualifications

• Doctoral degree with 2 years of relevant experience.
• Master's degree with 3 years of relevant experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Network Engineering, Systems Engineering, Information Technology or related field (e.g. General Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Forensic, Cyber Security, Software Engineering, Information Assurance, or Computer Security)
• Associates degree with 7 years of relevant experience.
• Completion of military training in a relevant area such as JCAC (Joint Cyber Analysis Course) will be considered towards the relevant experience requirements (i.e. 24-week JCAC course will count as 6 months of experience).

Responsibilities

• Support mission-critical programs in secure government environments
• Analyze requirements and translate them into actionable solutions
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality results
• Ensure compliance with contract and security standards
• Contribute ideas to improve processes, efficiency, and performance
• Support the investigation and analysis of digital evidence
• Be responsible for loading and processing data to assist forensic investigations.

Skills

Active TS/SCI with Polygraph

Government or DoD program experience

Independent and collaborative work

Strong written and verbalcommunication

Linux and command-line proficiency

Computer forensics experience

Education

Doctoral degree with 2 years of relevant experience
