Redwood Credit Union is seeking a Cybersecurity Analyst to safeguard critical information resources and collaborate with architects, engineers, developers, internal audit, and vendor management to design and implement security controls.

The role emphasizes threat monitoring, incident response, and ongoing security posture improvements to meet industry standards and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or closely related field.
• Minimum 5 years IT/security experience or equivalent.
• Experience with security operations, incident response, and risk assessments.

Responsabilités

• Conduct in-depth security analysis including vulnerability assessments, threat modeling, risk assessments, and vendor risk management.
• Write SIEM detection rules using KQL and manage SIEM log analysis.
• Handle cybersecurity ticket queue with triage and escalation thresholds.
• Investigate security events, meet SLAs, containment, resolution, and escalation.
