Job summary

Cybersecurity Jobs in Quantico, VA seeks an experienced security engineer to support AFOSI cybersecurity operations, implementing RMF deliverables, vulnerability management, and security monitoring onsite.

Responsibilities include building a vulnerability scanning architecture, engineering a SIEM solution, and integrating security testing into the development pipeline, while maintaining RMF packages and eMASS artifacts.

Qualifications

• Active Top Secret clearance and SCI eligibility.
• Approved DoD 8570/8140 IAT Level II certification or ability to obtain it within contract timeframe.
• 5+ years in cybersecurity and information assurance, including 3+ years in systems administration.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering and implementation of security solutions.
• Design and manage vulnerability scanning architecture.
• Engineer and implement a SIEM solution (Splunk/ArcSight).
• Coordinate RMF Assessment and Authorization packages.
• Support security documentation for AFOSI systems and enclaves.
• Monitor and remediate security controls and POA&M tracking.
• Review scans, maintain asset lists, schedule scans, and identify config issues using ACAS or Tenable.
• Correlate vulnerability findings with IAVM alerts and CVEs for compliance.
• Review configurations against DISA STIGs and Security Requirements Guidance.
• Maintain GRC records and eMASS artifacts; produce security documentation.
