Job summary

Kyndryl is seeking a Cybersecurity Defense Associate to protect our clients by supporting security operations, incident response, vulnerability management, and threat hunting across networks, endpoints, cloud environments, and critical infrastructure.

In this role you will work with cybersecurity specialists to monitor, investigate, and respond to threats, deploy and configure tools like EDR and NDR, and help strengthen resilience while growing your own expertise through continuous learning.

Qualifications

• Foundational experience in cybersecurity, security operations, incident response.
• Knowledge of network, endpoint, cloud, and infrastructure security.
• Experience with EDR, NDR, SIEM, or related security technologies.
• Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and analyze security events across networks, endpoints, cloud, and enterprise systems.
• Investigate and respond to cybersecurity incidents using established incident management processes.
• Support threat hunting activities to identify IOCs and suspicious activity.
• Document incidents, findings, remediation activities, and security recommendations.
• Collaborate with security operations, infrastructure, cloud, and application teams to improve security posture.
