Job summary

Integral Federal in McLean, VA is seeking a Security Analyst to support DoD cyber defense research, develop advanced detection methods, and evaluate attack behaviors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS/IT or related field.
• Certifications such as CEH, CISSP, CCNA Security required.
• TS/SCI clearance is required.
• Experience with vulnerability management tools and DoD standards.
• Knowledge of DoWIN infrastructure and security tooling.

Responsibilities

• Analyze results of signature and anomaly detection to report malicious activity.
• Evaluate vulnerability scanners and security metadata to reduce attack surface.
• Develop and maintain detection methods using COTS, GOTS, and open tools.
• Document methods with example data when available.
• Review incidents from CSSP teams and automate event detection.
• Utilize tools to map and protect DoWIN infrastructure from vulnerabilities.
