Job summary

Johns Hopkins Applied Physics Laboratory (APL) seeks a skilled professional to enhance cyber resilience of critical systems within the Capabilities Development Group (QCC). A multidisciplinary team of engineers develops novel tools and leverages threat intelligence to gain operational advantage for sponsors in challenging cyber environments.

You will collaborate with stakeholders, lead the creation of cyber concepts and techniques, and mentor others while pursuing Top Secret/SCI readiness.

Qualifications

• A BS in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or a related technical field.
• 5+ years developing cyber concepts, systems, or analytics with systems engineering/ops understanding.
• Ability to obtain Top Secret clearance by start date; US citizenship.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate needs into well-defined requirements.
• Lead the creation of novel cyber concepts, capabilities, and techniques.
• Apply concepts across computer, network, systems, and cybersecurity to solve security challenges.
• Document findings, results, concepts, recommendations and mitigation strategies.
• Mentor team members to develop future leaders and technical experts.
