Job summary

Contact Discovery Services LLC is seeking a Project Associate, Cyber Breach to support breach response operations and handling of compromised datasets. The role involves on-call rotation, coordinating intake and processing, and producing regulatory and client-facing reports.

The ideal candidate will have experience with Relativity or similar eDiscovery platforms, strong analytical skills, and an understanding of incident response lifecycle within a consultative client-service context.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree or equivalent practical experience in a relevant field.
• 3+ years' experience handling data operations or reviews in legal technology, cyber, or eDiscovery.
• Comfort working with structured and unstructured data.
• Ability to communicate effectively to all relevant stakeholders including attorneys and client support staff.
• Knowledge of breach response concepts, PII and PHI handling, and eDiscovery workflows.
• Proficiency with Windows operating systems and Office suite.

Responsibilities

• Perform contact discovery and breach analysis in on-call and standard work settings.
• Coordinate intake, processing, and analysis of datasets for hosting.
• Extract, classify, and validate sensitive data, including PII and PHI.
• Build notification lists and support regulatory and client-facing reporting.
• Maintain quality control and documentation across all deliverables.
• Collaborate with project managers and technical teams to meet deadlines.
• Assist with procedure development and continuous process improvement.
• Adhere to SOPs and chain of custody requirements.
• Provide ongoing consultation to case teams for incident response related review and workflows.
• Proactively communicate project status and guidance to clients, partners, and internal teams.
• Participate in on-call rotation including nights and weekends.
