Job summary

Booz Allen is looking for a Cyber Automation Engineer to design, implement, and maintain automation for complex cyber activities in cloud and enterprise environments.

You will develop innovative security solutions, mentor teammates, and collaborate with cloud, data, and security stakeholders to implement secure architectures and remediation strategies. TS/SCI with a polygraph is required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years designing, developing, and implementing cybersecurity automation solutions supporting enterprise cloud or platform environments.
• 5+ years of experience automating security controls, compliance validation, vulnerability management, continuous monitoring, or incident response activities.
• Experience developing automation, integrations, and security tooling using Python, APIs, scripting frameworks, or cloud-native services.
• Experience implementing logging, monitoring, audit, and security telemetry solutions across AWS, cloud-native platforms, and enterprise applications.
• Experience supporting federal cybersecurity and compliance frameworks such as RMF, ATO, NIST 800-53, or Continuous Monitoring ( ConMon )
• Experience deploying and operating security capabilities within containerized and cloud-native environments using technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, or AWS EKS
• Experience collaborating with cloud engineers, platform engineers, data engineers, and security stakeholders to implement secure architectures and communicate security risks, remediation strategies, and technical solutions
• TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph

• Experience supporting Databricks, AI / ML platforms, data platforms, or other cloud-native analytics environments
• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, CS, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related technical field
• Security+, CISSP, AWS Security Spe cia lty, GIAC, Certified Cloud Security Professional ( CCSP ) , or similar Industry Certification
