Job summary

Angove Partners is working with a leading insurance carrier to hire a Cyber Associate Underwriter in Chicago or New York. You will support the underwriting team across the full lifecycle of Cyber accounts, gaining exposure to submissions, broker relationships, underwriting decisions and policy documentation.

Qualifications

• 0–3 years of experience in insurance, underwriting, risk management, cybersecurity or related field.
• Analytical mindset with attention to detail and good problem-solving.
• Strong written and verbal communication; able to work with brokers.

Responsibilities

• Support senior underwriters with new business and renewal opportunities, helping to assess risks and support underwriting decisions.
• Review cyber submissions for completeness and accuracy, liaising with brokers for additional information as needed.
• Prepare quotes, binders, endorsements and policy documentation to a high standard.
• Maintain underwriting files and data integrity across underwriting systems.
• Collaborate with colleagues across underwriting, operations and brokers to ensure smooth process.
