Job summary

Deloitte in the United States is seeking a Cyber Forward Deployed Engineer Manager to lead delivery of cybersecurity and AI-enabled solutions at the intersection of client engagement and hands-on engineering.

You will guide teams on high-quality solutions, contribute to deal shaping, ensure client satisfaction, and drive efficient delivery while building long-term capability within Deloitte's Cyber Engineering team.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in full stack development across frontend and backend technologies.
• Experience in JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, and modern frameworks (React, Angular, or Next.js).
• Backend experience in Node.js, Python (Django/Flask), or Java (Spring Boot).
• Experience with relational (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Redis).
• Experience building and integrating REST APIs, microservices, and serverless architectures.
• Experience conducting code reviews and guiding teams on best practices.
• Experience delivering and scaling applications on AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Experience with Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and development lifecycle tools (Git, Azure DevOps).
• 1+ years of hands-on GenAI/LLM-powered solutions in client/ production environments.
• 1+ years with Frontier Gen AI Platforms: Anthropic, Google or OpenAI, including Claude/GPT integrations.
• Experience guiding teams on AI architecture, platform selection and production integration.
• Experience with scalability, governance, and performance for AI-enabled solutions.

Responsibilities

• Translate business and cybersecurity needs into high-quality technical solutions (including AI/GenAI capabilities) and deploy them for clients.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues within scope.
• Partner with stakeholders to shape technical solutions during pursuits, including demos/POCs/prototypes.
• Contribute to solution design, ensuring alignment between client needs and delivery feasibility.
• Partner with leadership to influence technical win strategy, including pricing inputs and effort estimation.
• Own overall customer satisfaction, managing expectations, delivery quality and outcomes.
• Build and maintain trusted client relationships and address escalations.
• Ensure delivery aligns with scope, timelines, and cost estimates, managing deviations to protect margins.
• Drive delivery efficiency and unit economics by optimizing team structure and effort allocation.
• Capture and translate delivery learnings into product or platform improvements and enable knowledge transfer to client teams.
