Job summary

wk is hiring an Associate Director of CX/UX Design for Tax & Accounting NA. The role leads multiple UX teams, sets strategy, and scales UX maturity across enterprise partners. You will influence executives, drive design direction, and govern design systems while guiding AI-enabled experiences aligned to business outcomes.

You will collaborate with Product, Engineering, Research, Analytics, and Brand teams to ensure usable, accessible, and measurable experiences. Hybrid work with in-office days.

Qualifications

• Experience leading UX/product design in complex product environments.
• Experience managing managers and multiple UX teams.
• Ability to translate business priorities into actionable design direction.
• Strong product thinking and customer-to-outcome focus.
• Experience aligning across Product, Engineering, Research, Analytics, and senior stakeholders.
• Strong facilitation to drive alignment among executives.
• Ability to influence without formal authority.
• Track record delivering user-centered experiences at scale.
• Experience improving design standards and governance.

Responsibilities

• Lead and align multiple UX and product design teams around a shared experience vision.
• Define and drive TAA NA UX strategy in alignment with enterprise priorities.
• Set product design direction across complex initiatives to ensure usable, scalable and measurable experiences.
• Own UX outcomes across TAA NA in partnership with Product, Engineering, Research, Analytics, and executives.
• Lead the UX strategy for AI-enabled experiences with trust, transparency, and responsible adoption.
• Partner with UX Research to translate customer insights into strategy and decisions.
• Guide governance of design systems, standards, and reusable patterns.
• Represent UX in executive settings with clear articulations of value, risks, and impact.
• Provide executive reporting on research insights, progress, risks, and customer impact.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Business, Global Brand, and other leaders for alignment and decision-making.
