Aquent Studios is seeking a visionary UX Designer to lead the design process from concept to implementation, shaping intuitive, world-class digital experiences. You will collaborate with product and engineering teams to drive human-centered design across a global ecosystem, delivering measurable improvements in user journeys and engagement.

In this role you will champion design systems, run iterative design sprints, and mentor colleagues while aligning with business goals and timelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Design, HCI, or related field.
• 5+ years in product design.
• A dynamic design portfolio showing your design process and shipped products.
• Experience with iterative design sprints and lean, Agile development.
• Strong design skills balancing user needs with business goals.
• Ability to navigate complex problems and deliver holistic UX solutions.
• Proficiency with Figma, Miro, Adobe Creative Suite.
• Knowledge of Design Systems and guidelines for iOS/Android.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Experience in sketching, wireframes, IA, sitemaps, user flows, prototypes.
• Understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and contribute to all phases of product design, from distilling research and ideation to prototyping, final specification, and implementation.
• Drive a unified user experience by collaborating effectively with colleagues, business leaders, and technology partners, adapting to organizational changes as they occur.
• Advocate for human-centered design principles within digital development processes and across stakeholder groups.
• Partner with design leads to define and enhance product design and experience, focusing on continuous improvement and innovation.
• Ensure creative thinking is consistently applied to product, business, and customer needs, meeting committed timeframes.
• Champion best practices to achieve a cohesive “One Experience and Design” standard across the organization.
• Define and apply user-centric design measurement criteria and conduct testing to ensure positive user experience outcomes.
• Develop and document product design standards and patterns systemically across various products.
• Collaborate on process improvements and tool implementation to optimize design workflows.
• Cultivate and maintain continuous customer relationships, identifying and leveraging UX and design opportunities.
• Communicate effectively across all levels of a global enterprise, adapting your approach to diverse audiences and stakeholders.

Must-Have Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in designing products.
• A dynamic design portfolio showcasing your design process and shipped products.
• Proven experience with iterative design sprints and lean, Agile development processes.
• Strong product design skills and practical application of human-centered design methods that balance user needs with business goals.
• Demonstrated ability to navigate complex problems and develop holistic solutions for product and its UX ecosystems.
• Mastery of design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Miro, Adobe Creative Suite, and other industry-standard design tools.
• Knowledge and experience with Design Systems and human interface guidelines for various platforms, including iOS, Android, and connected platforms.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines effectively.
• Experience in sketching, concept creation, wireframing, producing information architecture, sitemaps, and user flows, along with creating clickable rapid design prototypes.
• Understanding of web technologies including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to listen, articulate positions, and advocate for design decisions.
• A vibrant and engaging communicator capable of presenting complex concepts and ideas to all levels of the company.

Other Requirements

Compensation Range: $70-70/hour DOE
