Job summary

Arclabs Welding School is seeking a Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) to perform inspections and assess weld quality for clients, ensuring proper equipment and compliance with weld specs. This role includes administrative management for the Piedmont ATF location and client consulting.

You will report to the Director of ATF, administer weld tests, document results, and handle all admin tasks while traveling when required to support operations.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years welding experience required.
• Familiarity with AWS D1.1, D1.5, D1.3, ASME Section, API 1104.
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel and Word.

Responsibilities

• Provides consulting for clients and documents test results.
• Manages all administrative tasks for the location.
• Willingness to travel as needed.

The CWI is responsible for inspecting and assessing the strength and quality of welds, ensuring the correct equipment is being used, checking weld specifications, and ensuring all safety regulations are being adhered to. This position is responsible for the administrative management of the Arclabs Piedmont ATF location.
