Job summary

Arclabs Welding School is seeking a Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) to perform inspections and assess weld quality for clients at the Piedmont ATF location. You will verify weld specifications, ensure equipment compliance, and uphold safety regulations while supporting administrative tasks for the ATF site.

The role requires 3–5 years welding experience, proficiency in MS Excel and Word, and readiness to travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Certified Welding Inspector knowledge and inspections.
• Experience with welding test administration is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Reports to the Director of ATF.
• Administers weld tests and documents results.
• Consults for clients and ensures weld quality.
• Handles administrative tasks for the ATF location.

The CWI is responsible for inspecting and assessing the strength and quality of welds, ensuring the correct equipment is being used, checking weld specifications, and ensuring all safety regulations are being adhered to. This position is responsible for the administrative management of the Arclabs Piedmont ATF location.

• Reports to the Director of ATF
• Administers weld test
• Consulting for clients
• Documenting and submitting results of weld test
• Handles all administrative tasks
• Must be willing to travel when needed (keep or remove??)

Requirements

• Must be familiar with AWS D1.1, D1.5, D1.3, ASME Section, API 1104
• Must have 3-5 years of welding experience
• Proficient in both Microsoft Excel and Word
