Job summary

Mistras Group Inc. is seeking a Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) / NDT Inspector to support a project in Olean, NY. This is a full-time, on-site role with local candidates or those willing to relocate.

Responsibilities include visual weld inspections to AWS codes, comprehensive NDT testing, accurate reporting, and clear communication of findings to supervisors and clients. Relevant certifications and a valid license are required.

Qualifications

• Current AWS Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) certification required.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
• Ability to pass required background screening, drug screening, and client-specific requirements.

Preferred Qualifications

• Level II NDT certifications (UT, MT, PT, VT, RT, or other methods).
• Previous experience in industrial, manufacturing, fabrication, power generation, or oil & gas environments.
• Additional API or ASNT certifications are a plus.
• Experience interpreting engineering drawings, codes, and specifications.
