Mistras Group Inc. is seeking a Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) / NDT Inspector to support a project in Richmond, VA. This is a full-time, on-site role with pay up to $40 per hour, based on additional certifications and experience.

Responsibilities include performing visual weld inspections to AWS codes, conducting NDT inspections, preparing accurate reports, and ensuring safety and client compliance. Strong communication and documentation skills are required.

Qualifications

• Current AWS CWI certification.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Ability to pass background screenings and client requirements.

Minimum Qualifications

• Current AWS Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) certification.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Ability to pass required background screening, drug screening, and client-specific requirements.

Preferred Qualifications

• Level II NDT certifications (UT, MT, PT, VT, RT, or other methods).
• Previous experience in industrial, manufacturing, fabrication, power generation, or oil & gas environments.
• Additional API or ASNT certifications are a plus.
• Experience interpreting engineering drawings, codes, and specifications.
