Job summary

Mistras Group Inc. is seeking a Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) to support inspection services in Eastern Massachusetts. This is a full-time role based in the region, with pay up to $60.00 per hour; candidates with a UTSW certification may earn more.

You will perform visual weld inspections per AWS codes and customer specifications, conduct NDT inspections, inspect welds and materials for quality, and prepare detailed inspection reports. Local presence and strong safety adherence are essential.

Qualifications

• Current AWS Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) certification is required.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Ability to pass background and drug screenings and client-specific requirements.

Mistras Group Inc. is seeking a Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) to for work in Eastern Massachusetts. UTSW or other NDT Certs a plus. This is a full-time position. Candidates must be local to Eastern Massachusetts.

• Conduct Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) inspections following applicable procedures and industry standards.
• Inspect welds, materials, and components for quality and code compliance.
• Prepare accurate inspection reports and documentation.
• Communicate inspection findings with supervisors and customers.
• Follow all company safety policies and client requirements.
• Maintain certifications and comply with applicable codes and standards.
• Perform other inspection-related duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

• Current AWS Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) certification.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Ability to pass required background screening, drug screening, and client-specific requirements.

Preferred Qualifications

• Level II NDT certifications UTSW.
• Previous experience in industrial, manufacturing, fabrication, power generation, or oil & gas environments.
• Additional API or ASNT certifications are a plus.
• Experience interpreting engineering drawings, codes, and specifications.
