Job summary

Spitzerind is looking for a Quality Control Inspector - CWI in Brookshire, Texas. The successful candidate will perform inspections to ensure compliance with customer specifications and maintain detailed records. This role involves monitoring production processes and ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards.

The ideal applicant must have a high school diploma, CWI certification, and a strong understanding of welding processes. The position offers full-time working hours with potential for overtime.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or related education/experience.
• Basic math skills.
• Ability to communicate verbally and in writing in English.
• Must pass vision and color contrast tests.

Responsibilities

• Perform product inspections to ensure quality standards.
• Monitor all phases from raw materials to finished products.
• Initiate non-conformance reports and document inspections.

Skills

Knowledge of measuring devices and tools

Knowledge of codes and specifications

Good knowledge of welding and NDE processes

Ability to read and interpret drawings

Education

High school diploma or GED
