VCA Lancaster Animal Hospital is seeking a compassionate Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT) to join our full‑service general practice in Lancaster, MA. You’ll perform exams, administer vaccines, monitor anesthesia, assist in surgery, and support diagnostics and dental care as part of a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• CVT certification and clinical veterinary skills required.
• Experience with anesthesia, surgery support, radiography and in‑house diagnostics preferred.
• Strong client communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Performs exams, gathers histories, and records vitals for the team.
• Administers vaccines and treatments with accurate dosing.
• Places IV catheters and manages fluid therapy.
• Inducts and monitors anesthesia for procedures; assists in surgery.
• Performs radiography and in‑house lab work; supports dental care.
• Educates clients on preventive care and at‑home instructions.
• Maintains accurate medical records and communicates with the team.
