Animal Medical Clinic of Wheaton is seeking a Credentialed/Licensed Veterinary Technician (CVT/LVT/RVT) to join our team. Work closely with veterinarians to provide exceptional patient care in a collaborative hospital environment.

The role involves anesthesia for surgeries, IV catheter placement, venipuncture, dental prophylaxis, radiographs, client education, and team collaboration. Flexible schedule with day/evening shifts and opportunities for a 4- or 5-day work week.

Qualifications

• Credentialed veterinary technician (CVT/LVT/RVT) required.
• Experience with anesthesia monitoring and surgical support.
• Strong dentistry and radiology skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork.
• Ability to educate clients and handle multiple tasks.
• Detail-oriented with strong patient care.

Responsibilities

• Perform and monitor anesthesia for surgeries.
• Place IV catheters and manage fluids.
• Collect diagnostic blood samples via venipuncture.
• Conduct dental prophylaxis and dental radiographs.
• Position patients for radiographs.
• Assist with surgical prep, monitoring, and recovery.
• Maintain clean, stocked surgical areas.
• Obtain patient histories and assist in exam rooms.
• Educate clients on treatment plans and wellness.
• Collaborate with team to deliver high-quality care.
