Job summary

Animal Medical Clinic of Wheaton, part of National Veterinary Associates, is seeking a Credentialed/Licensed Veterinary Technician (CVT, LVT, or RVT) to join a collaborative team. The role involves anesthesia monitoring, surgical support, dentistry, and radiology, with a focus on client education and high-quality patient care.

The position offers a mix of day, afternoon, and late-evening shifts with full-time benefits including medical, dental, and vision insurance, paid vacation and sick time,

Qualifications

• Credentialed Veterinary Technician required.
• Proficiency in anesthesia monitoring and surgical support.
• Strong dentistry and radiology skills.
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and multitasking abilities.
• Comfortable working directly with clients and providing education.

Responsibilities

• Perform and monitor anesthesia for various surgical procedures.
• Place IV catheters and manage fluids during procedures.
• Perform venipuncture and collect diagnostic samples.
• Conduct dental prophylaxis and radiographs.
• Position patients for radiographs and assist in surgery.
• Maintain surgical areas and record keeping.
• Assist in exams, educate clients on treatment and wellness.
