Zusammenfassung

VHC Health in Arlington, VA is seeking a Part-Time Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) to join the Cardiac, Vascular and Thoracic Surgery outpatient clinic. You will deliver comprehensive CVT care, assess patients, and develop treatment plans within the scope of practice.

Candidates should have a master’s degree in nursing or PA program, current Virginia license, NP certification, and CVT surgical experience.

Qualifikationen

Master's degree in Nursing or completion of an accredited PA program.
Minimum of one year in cardiovascular and thoracic surgery or advanced practice nursing.
Current RN license from the Virginia Dept. of Health Professions (or Compact State Licensure).
Nurse Practitioner license (preferred for NPs).
National certification as NP required (or eligibility).
Current BLS and ACLS certifications required.

Aufgaben

Deliver comprehensive care to CVT surgery patients in the outpatient clinic.
Assess patients, develop and implement treatment plans, manage postoperative recovery.
Order and interpret diagnostics, prescribe meds, perform bedside procedures within scope.
Educate patients and assist with discharge planning.
Ensure adherence to clinical protocols and regulatory requirements.
Document care accurately in the electronic health record.
