Job summary

Wolf Run Veterinary Clinic in Muncy, PA seeks an experienced Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT) for a full-time role supporting outpatient care and procedural services, including anesthesia, surgery, and dentistry.

Qualifications

• 2+ years veterinary technician or veterinary assistant experience preferred.
• Active, good-standing Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT) license in Pennsylvania required.
• Recent graduates pending VTNE testing and licensure, or out-of-state license-holders eligible to transfer, encouraged to apply.
• Proficiency in the following skills: client communication and exam room workflow; phlebotomy and IV catheter placement; anesthesia maintenance and troubleshooting; patient assessment, nursing care, and monitoring; surgical assistance and aseptic technique; dental prophylaxis and dental radiography; radiology positioning and safety protocols; medication administration and accurate drug calculations; accurate medical record documentation.

Responsibilities

• Support efficient exam room, outpatient, surgical, and dental workflows.
• Perform anesthesia induction, monitoring, maintenance, and recovery, including troubleshooting.
• Assist in surgery, including patient prep, setup, and recovery.
• Perform dental procedures, including prophylaxis and radiography.
• Run in-house laboratory diagnostics, including microscopy.
• Maintain accurate, detailed medical records and treatment documentation.
• Review treatment plans, medications, and discharge instructions with clients clearly and compassionately.
• Build strong client relationships through education, communication, and attentive service.
