Qualifications

• 2+ years veterinary technician or veterinary assistant experience preferred.
• Active, good-standing Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT) license in Pennsylvania required.
• Recent graduates pending VTNE testing and licensure, or out-of-state license-holders eligible to transfer, encouraged to apply.
• Proficiency in the following skills: client communication and exam room workflow; phlebotomy and IV catheter placement; anesthesia maintenance and troubleshooting; patient assessment, nursing care, and monitoring; surgical assistance and aseptic technique; dental prophylaxis and dental radiography; radiology positioning and safety protocols; medication administration and accurate drug calculations; accurate medical record documentation.

Responsibilities

Job description

Wolf Run Veterinary Clinic is seeking an experienced Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT) to join our team and support both outpatient care and procedural services, including surgery and dentistry.

We are seeking a versatile, client-focused technician who thrives in a dynamic general practice environment, balancing exam room care, client communication, and hands-on procedural support. We value credentialed technicians for the clinical knowledge, judgment, and communication skills they bring across all areas of the hospital, helping elevate the quality of medicine, client experience, and patient care.

In this position, you will play a key role in both outpatient and procedural workflows, contributing to a consistent, high standard of care throughout the patient visit. Responsibilities include:

• Supporting efficient exam room, outpatient, surgical, and dental workflows

Schedule and compensation:

• Compensation: Up to $25.00 per hour, for each hour worked, based on skills and experience
• Schedule: This is afull-time position, with a 4 x 10 schedule and availability needed Monday-Friday, with rotating weekend shifts every 4-5 weeks.
