Qualifications

• 2+ years of veterinary technician experience.
• Active and good-standing Certified Veterinary Technician in Mississippi.
• Proficiency in patient assessment, nursing care, anesthesia, surgery, dental radiography, venipuncture, radiology safety, medication calculations, and lab testing.
• Accurate medical records documentation.
• Ability to communicate treatment plans clearly with clients.

Responsibilities

• Supporting efficient exam room, outpatient, surgical, and dental workflows
• Performing anesthesia induction, monitoring, and recovery
• Assisting in surgery
• Performing dental procedures, including prophylaxis and radiography
• Maintaining accurate, detailed medical records and treatment documentation
• Reviewing treatment plans, medications, and discharge instructions with clients clearly and compassionately
• Identifying patient concerns and supporting efficient case management across the hospital
• Building strong client relationships through education, communication, and attentive service
