Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience as veterinary surgery technician or CVT in surgery
• Strong skills in anesthesia induction and monitoring
• Attention to detail and patient safety
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced surgical environment

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients, suites and equipment for procedures
• Induce, monitor and recover patients under anesthesia
• Maintain sterility and aseptic technique
• Assist with instruments and equipment during surgery
• Ensure surgical charges/records are accurate in Cornerstone
• Assist with dental cleanings and radiography
• Monitor hospitalized surgical patients and provide compassionate care
