Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing-Nursing is seeking a travel nurse RN CVOR for a 13-week assignment in Phoenix, AZ. Start date 10/19/2026; 40 hours per week; dayshift; travel employment.

Requires 1 year CVOR RN experience, valid RN license, and current BLS certification. You will join a dedicated clinical team to deliver direct and indirect care during surgical procedures, collaborating with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and staff to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes throughout the perioperative

Qualifications

• One year of recent CVOR RN experience.
• Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS (AHA/ ARC) certification.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the Cardiovascular operating room for the procedure.
• Assemble equipment, supplies, medications, and implants; ensure equipment functions and availability.
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, perfusionists, and the surgical team to deliver coordinated care.
• Position patients safely using approved devices to ensure optimal exposure.
• Adhere to Universal Protocol and timeout to confirm patient identity, procedure, and site.
