Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel CVOR RN for a 13-week assignment in Winston-Salem, NC. This travel position requires a Cardiovascular Operating Room RN with 1-2 years of acute care experience, ACLS/BLS certifications, and the ability to stand for long periods in a fast-paced OR.

The RN will circulate for a range of cardiothoracic procedures, perform pre/post-operative assessments, administer medications, and coordinate the operating room with surgical teams.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years recent acute care experience.
• ACLS and BLS certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Assess and plan perioperative nursing care before, during, and after surgery.
• Administer medications and monitor patient vitals in the CVOR.
• Assist physicians and maintain aseptic technique in the OR.
• Coordinate room setup, sterility, and equipment readiness for procedures.
• Handle specimens properly and ensure patient safety throughout surgery.
