Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a CVOR travel nurse RN to join our Greenville, NC team for a 13-week assignment. The role requires 1–2 years of acute care experience, ACLS/BLS, and the ability to work 40 hours per week on 10-hour day shifts.

You will circulate for diverse cardiothoracic surgeries and collaborate with physicians and OR staff. The position emphasizes high-quality patient care, rapid adaptation to a fast-paced OR, and adherence to sterile techniques.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years recent acute care experience.
• ACLS and BLS certifications required.
• Travel assignment: 13 weeks, 40 hours/week, 10-hour days.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional CVOR care for cardiothoracic surgeries.
• Assist physicians and circulating nurse during procedures.
• Maintain aseptic technique and patient safety.
• Monitor vital signs and administer medications.
• Coordinate the OR with equipment, sterility and supplies.
• Handle specimens properly.
