Job summary

Memorial Health University Medical Center in Savannah, GA seeks a CVOR Technician to support heart and vascular surgeries. You will ensure the CVOR is sterile, well-equipped, and ready for bypass and valve procedures, coordinating with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and perfusionists.

You will prepare instruments, assist during procedures, maintain counts, and help with case prep and post-op turnover, contributing to patient safety and efficient operating room workflows.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited surgical technology program.
• General OR experience preferred.
• Optional CVOR certification (e.g., CST-CVOR).

Responsibilities

• Pre-Procedure: Prepare CVOR and set up instrument trays (200+ items for bypass cases).
• During Procedure: Pass instruments with precision and maintain sterile field; monitor CVOR equipment with perfusionists.
• Post-Procedure: Assist with patient transfer, restock CVOR, and document equipment issues.
